About Me

Thanks for stopping by!

I’m one of those lucky few who get to write for a living.

I’m a brand and marketing creative of 9 years with a passion for puns, em dashes, thank you notes, and film noir. I believe that the best storytelling brings humanity, wit, and knowledge together — to move people and build brands.

A film buff at an early age, I attended NYU’s Kanbar School and Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film, earning my BA in Film Studies and working in the film festival world in Los Angeles. My love for writing led me across the pond to London, England, working as a freelance journalist while earning my MA (Distinction) in International Journalism from City University, London. I’ve proudly contributed to publications like Women's Running, Screen International, and notable European film festivals.

Back in the States, I dove into copywriting and agency life in San Francisco, before joining the team at Google — producing print and digital content for products like Google Ads, Gmail, and Google Fiber.

In 2019, I headed south to Austin, Texas for my next rodeo. I currently lead a team of copywriters and social media writers at ecommerce SaaS software company BigCommerce.

In my free time, you can find me at the movies catching everything from Obayashi to John Ford, mixing up a margarita, or adventuring abroad.
